Justin Timberlake werkt samen met Pharrell aan zijn nieuwe album

Eerder in maart, gingen er al geruchten rond dat Justin Timberlake weer zijn krachten met producer Pharrell heeft gebundeld. Vandaag bevestigt hij in een interview met dat zijn mentor Pharrell. Hij heeft een grote impact gehad op Timberlake's solocarrière: In 2002 maakte Justin Timberlake zijn debuut met het album Justified, waarvan Pharrell de executive producer was.
In een interview met Variety laat Pharrell meer los over de groei die Justin Timberlake momenteel meemaakt:

"He's discovering who he is now. Songwise, I think we've got a good solid six that are like, 'Whoa, what was that? Play that again. For the biggest pop stars in the world, the place where they have the most trouble is honesty. It's hard for them to know that the beauty of a record, the sweetest spot in the song, is where they show vulnerability," Pharrell added. "If you’re able to really screenshot your own vulnerability, and frame it properly, and color-correct it, then it becomes something that every human can relate to. And I think Justin is in the place where he’s mastering that right now."
Afgelopen mei bracht Justin Timberlake de track Can't Stop The Feeling uit. Justin heeft nog geen releasedatum of titel bekend gemaakt, maar waarschijnlijk is dat nummer onderdeel van het aankomende project.
