Pharrell en Tiffany & Co. slaan handen ineen voor Tiffany Titan sieraden collectie

Pharrell Williams heeft naast zijn muziekcarrière ook een succesvolle naam opgebouwd in de mode-industrie. Met samenwerkingen als Moncler, NIGO en Chanel heeft hij een platform voor zichzelf kunnen opbouwen. Na twee samenwerkingen met Louis Vuitton, 2004 en 2008, kroonde het Franse merk Pharrell als hun nieuwe Men’s Creative Director. "His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter," zegt Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuittons voorzitter en CEO. Nu onthult de artiest via Instagram zijn nieuwe samenwerking met Tiffany & Co, Tiffany Titan.

"I’m very inspired by the water, and the name of this collection ‘Titan’ draws inspiration from Poseidon, ruler of the sea, King of Atlantis. Atlantis, which is also the name of the community I grew up in Virginia Beach," zegt Pharrell tegen Womens Wear Daily over de Tiffany Titan. "The detail in all of the jewelry pieces is very intentional, the use of black titanium…it’s a physical manifestation of beauty in blackness."

Alexandre Arnault, LV's executive vice president, product, communicatie en industrie van het merk, deelde dat hij heel enthousiast was om de collab actie te onthullen. "The Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection defies the conventions of fine jewelry design. It represents a balance of Pharrell’s creative vision with Tiffany & Co.’s inventive craftsmanship. Each piece embodies Pharrell’s distinct style and unique point of view," vertelt Arnault. 

Om de Tiffany Titan collectie te vieren, hield Pharrell vorige maand een evenement bij The Landmark. De bekendste sterren hadden een bezoek gedaan, waaronder A$AP Rocky, Blackpink’s Rosé, Rosalía, Blake Lively en Gabrielle Union.
